Mortadella Cream Pasta

Ingredients

  • 320 g of pasta
  • 1/2 onion
  • 200 g of ricotta or cream cheese
  • 120 g of boiled Mortadella luxury sausage
  • Spices and herbs to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Boil water for the pasta.
  2. Slice the Mortadella into thin strips, then cut into small pieces.
  3. Dice the onion and sauté until golden.
  4. Once golden, add the Mortadella to the pan.
  5. Sauté together until a golden hue is achieved.
  6. Introduce the ricotta cheese and water from the boiling pasta.
  7. Stir thoroughly until the cheese dissolves.
  8. When the pasta is cooked but still al dente, drain it into the pan with the sauce, add 1 tablespoon of cooking water, toss the pasta in the pan, and remove from heat.

If desired, before serving, embellish with a sprinkle of roasted pistachios or fresh herbs.
